We are moving...AGAIN! Long story short, the job Justin took last July turned out to be a nightmare and not at all what was promised. Justin was miserable and hated going to work everyday. In January we found out about a practice available to purchase in southern Oregon. Justin started communicating with the selling Dr's and we made a trip down there mid January to investigate it further. After a couple months of working out the details and more road trips, the practice officially became ours and Justin started April 1st! The kids and I will follow in June when they get done with school!
We loved visiting old friends and are so excited to be moving back near them again. We are also grateful that our friends still call us friends after we took over their homes!
The Bruner's let us stay with them twice. I guess they are gluttons for punishment! This is the family who lived across the street from us and our kids were constantly together!
The Washburn's lucked out and didn't have to house us (although they did volunteer) but they did feed us and we loved hanging out with them. Only problem is now they live in Alaska! We are sad they will not be near us after we move but we look forward to visiting them soon!
The kids loved being able to have multiple sleepovers!
We love hanging out with the Savage family. Good food, great conversations, and lots of dirt for the kids to play in!
The Davis family moved away before we did but we are in luck because they recently moved back so we get to be near them again too!
Jaco and Daddy went mud diggin and gun shootin on one of the road trips. As you can see the shootin was more successful then the diggin! They got very stuck and it took them hours to get out. They loved it as only boys can!
Here are some shots of Justin's new office! It is HUGE and very nice. He is already so much happier there and will be even happier when we are all together again as a family!

Sad that it didn't work out, but glad you were able to go back and have an even better arrangement. Seeing some of those places (I didn't know the Davis' moved back!) makes me start thinking of a road trip, too...then I think of the three day drive it would take to get there...ok, never mind. I'll live vicariously through your blog!
Yay for better jobs. We're actually moving to Alaska this summer to get a better job. We briefly looked into buying a practice in southern Oregon too - maybe it's the same one. I hope this works out for you guys. =)

Loved our visits!!!! So glad Justin has his own practice, so exciting. We can't wait to spend more time together! My first dr. appt. in Ashland is this Tuesday...When is school out? When will you be down here? Sending lots of love for a safe move!
