February 10 around 6:pm we packed up the truck and headed south! Justin was super excited to see Tiger Woods play in Pebble Beach so he and Jake had tickets to the AT&T National Pro-Am. The girls and I stowed away with the boys with plans to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We arrived at the hotel at 1 in the morning. Jaco and Justin got up at 6 to go watch golf and the girls and I slept in a bit. My kids LOVE hotels. Every little package of cheap shower caps, bottles of yucky shampoo and bars of soap are collected like treasures! Add to that a breakfast bar and a pool and you would think I had the luckiest kids on earth! (Well, maybe I do!)
After trying to get a little more sleep, the girls and I headed to breakfast. Then it was time for a dip in the pool. Finally after getting showered and packing the truck we navigated our way to the aquarium. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is HUGE! So much to see and lots of walking involved. While we enjoyed the ocean's amazing world the boys chased Tiger Woods around the greens of Pebble Beach. Personally, I think the girls had more fun than the boys but they may argue with that statement!
Finally around 6 we met back up at the Dennis the Menace playground. We had a long drive back home and everyone was exhausted. Jaco even fell asleep on the drive home which hasn't happened in years! It was a fast and furious trip but oh so much fun!

I hope someday we can go to that aquarium! I've heard it's super fun.
