How do two people with perfect vision produce two children with not so perfect vision? Jaco has glasses and now so does La-La! At her 6 year physical she was given a basic eye exam which showed a possible problem. We were advised to just watch it. A couple weeks ago the school gave La-La an eye exam which is standard practice for all kindergartners. Once again, this exam showed a possible problem and we were told it would be good to have her seen by an eye Dr. So last week that is what we did and it turns out she is far sighted and has an astigmatism just like Jaco! And just like him, her left eye is weaker than the right. We picked out glasses and she was thrilled to finally get the call today saying they were ready. She is very excited about them and she looks pretty cute! I guess growing her bangs out wasn't a big enough make-over so she added glasses to her new look! Now we will keep a close eye (no pun intended!) on Care Bear's vision!!

I think she looks so cute! It's a good thing she's excited about it! Just make Care Bear eat a lot of asparagus, I hear it helps vision. :)

Yep, lots of Carrots...although she does look nice. I am surprised that our kids aren't in glasses since both Ryan and I wear them.
She looks cute! That is crazy that now 2 of your kids have bad eyesight when you and Justin don't. Good luck with Care Bear!
